Parent Involvement

The involvement in our community of our parents is a strength of our school.  There are a number of ways to get involved:

In the classroom

Parents are very welcome to support teachers and children in the classroom. Ask your child’s teacher about how you can help. A volunteer form is completed by all Volunteers under the Child Protection Guidelines.  All parent volunteers must be police cleared.

Please see our Canteen Coordinator to discuss dates/times for helping. Help is required at recess time and lunchtime. Rosters cover either session. All Canteen volunteers must be police cleared.

Parents & Friends Committee

All members of the school are members of the Parents and Friends Association. The P&F meets regularly to support the social life of our community and to support community activities.

All parents are asked to help. You can choose to be a Committee member or a member of the Network. The Committee meet to plan and prepare projects, and the Network is a group of parents that the Committee can call upon to ask for help and assistance.
